Restaurant · Luberon
The art ofwelcome.
Honest cooking, in a place where time slows down. A handful of tables, a great deal of care.

Our spirit
A pause outside of time
Le Romantique began with a simple wish: a place where you sit down without watching the clock. A stone house, pale walls, low light and the sound of cicadas fading with the day.
Everything here is built around conversation. Tables are set well apart, the service stays discreet, and each dish arrives when you are ready for it. This is a restaurant for two — to reconnect, to celebrate, or simply to share something true.
What guides us
Seasonal produce
Growers and farmers of the Luberon, within thirty kilometres. The menu follows the market, never the other way round.
Made in house
Bread, stocks, ice creams and pastries are made fresh each day. Nothing arrives ready-made.
Craft
Precise cooking, sauces finished to order, and respect for the ingredient before any display of technique.
Intimacy
Twenty-four covers, two seatings. A room designed so that your conversation stays yours.
Our cooking
Provence, spoken softly
Seasonal cooking, drawn from the landscape and led by feeling. We look for clean flavour: a vegetable picked that morning, a Mediterranean fish, a herb gathered behind the house.
The menu changes every three weeks, following what arrives. We also offer a wine pairing built around growers from the Luberon and the Ventoux.
Starter
Scallop carpaccio
Menton citrus, new-harvest olive oil, Camargue sea salt.
Main
Roasted sea bass
Seasonal vegetables, shellfish jus infused with wild fennel.
Dessert
Dark chocolate soufflé
Madagascar vanilla ice cream, cocoa nibs.

Our chef
Lisa Maïssa
Head chef
The daughter and granddaughter of cooks, Lisa grew up in a Corsican and Mediterranean family where cooking happened every day. Once she became a mother herself, she wanted to give her daughter food that was simple and true, close to nature.
After a twelve-year detour into tattooing, and a defining season in Switzerland, she has come back to settle in the Luberon, the region she calls home.
I do things with heart, or I don’t do them at all.
Book a table
For a romantic evening or a special occasion
We serve only twenty-four guests per seating, so booking remains the surest way to find your place.
Tell us the occasion — a birthday, a reunion, a proposal — and we will prepare the table accordingly.
Intimate & romantic
Quiet corner tables, lit by candles, made for evenings for two.
Natural & honest
A room of stone and pale wood, opening onto the olive garden.
Gentle & unhurried
Attentive service that follows your pace, never the other way round.
